Sparklers (parent-tot)
AGES: 18 - 36 months

CLASS LENGTH: 55 minutes

COST: $65/month

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

In this USA Gymnastics based program, children will climb, jump, crawl, swing, and slide their way into an adventured–filled and safe environment, while having the comfort of mommy or daddy by their side! Parents are educated on proper spotting of their children and other safety measures to ensure a positive experience for all.

Twinkle Stars

AGES: 3 - 4

CLASS LENGTH: 55 minutes

COST: $65/month

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class promotes fun and physical fitness through the sport of gymnastics.  Using a circuit format, children learn important socialization skills such as listening, following directions, waiting for turns and interacting with friends, while learning sequential gymnastics skill progressions for trampoline, tumbling, vault, bars and beam.

Comets

AGES: 4 - 5

CLASS LENGTH: 55 minutes

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class promotes fun and physical fitness through the sport of gymnastics. Using both station and circuit formats, children begin learning fundamental skill progressions on all events--vault, bars, beam, and floor--in preparation for transition into our school-age recreational classes. Important socialization skills such as listening, following directions, waiting for turns and interacting with friends are also emphasized.

Beginner

AGES: 6+

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Beginner athletes will begin learning progressions for all fundamental gymnastics skills while also building strength, increasing flexibility, developing self-confidence, and having fun! Gymnasts will learn to stick a landing on vault; build strength on the bars; walk, jump, and turn on the balance beam; and roll and cartwheel across floor.

Intermediate 1

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 1 hour

COST: $70/month

PREREQUISITE: Beginner or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Intermediate 1 athletes will build on progressions learned in the prior level and continue to develop the strength and flexibility needed to perform key progressions which include the pullover, back hip circle, and glides on bars, dive forward roll vault, independent cartwheels and handstands as well as assisted backbend kick-overs on floor, and beam work such as intermediate walks, kicks, jumps, levers, handstands, and cartwheels.​

Intermediate 2 

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 1 hour

PREREQUISITE: Intermediate 1 or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Intermediate 2 athletes have been prepared through sequential skill progressions to begin learning more complex skills building off of the prior level and include the handstand flat-back vault, the mill circle and sole circle dismount on bars, beam work to include independent handstands and cartwheels, complex jumps and combinations, as well as floor skills to include the round-off and front and back walkovers, and back handsprings.

Advanced

AGES: 6+

CLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes

COST: $90/month

PREREQUISITE: Intermediate 2 or equivalent coach’s evaluation

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Our highest level recreational gymnastics class, Advanced athletes focus on refining forms and shapes by adding a higher level of conditioning & strength and developing more flexibility. This is excellent preparation for competitive gymnastics. Athletes will continue to work towards mastery of the foundational skills that are the basis for all upper level gymnastics, as well as begin learning some of those upper level skills.

Tumbling &

Trampoline

 

Tumbling Foundations

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

No prior knowledge or skill is required for this class. Athletes will learn all foundational tumbling skills--forward roll, backward roll, handstand, cartwheel, and bridge kickover--all while gaining the body control, core strength, and shoulder flexibility needed to become a dynamic tumbler.

Tumbling 1

PREREQUISITE: Strong Handstand/Cartwheel 

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class will focus on strength, flexibility, and complete comfort while inverted in all positions, while also learning how to create power. Key skills taught include the backbend kickover, front limber, back walkover, front walkover, and mastering the round off. Back handspring drills and progressions will prepare athletes for Tumbling 2.

Tumbling 2

PREREQUISITE: Strong Back Walkover

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

The standing back handspring and round-off back handspring are the first skills acquired in this class. Athletes will refine all previously acquired foundational skills, transition a variety of walkovers into back handsprings, and will work towards multiplying back handsprings with increasing speed and power. Upon completion of this class, athletes will be prepped to learn the next big skill--the back tuck.

Tumbling 3

PREREQUISITE: Strong Back Handspring Series

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class is all about tucks! Key skills taught include the standing back handspring to back tuck, round-off back handspring to back tuck, and the standing tuck. Athletes will also learn basic twisting drills to prepare for learning layouts and fulls in the Tumbling 4.

Tumbling 4

PREREQUISITE: Strong Flight Tumbling

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

The premier focus of this class is the layout. Once mastered, athletes will work on twisting the layout--both forward and backward. Athletes will also learn how to connect tucks to other skills, advancing in scope and complexity as the individual progresses.

Trampoline *NEW CLASS*

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Trampoline is an introductory class for kids who want to soar--safely! Trampoline safety is enforced at all times while athletes progress in learning high flying skills in a sequential manner. Taught by our Tramp & Tumbling team's head coach! Great intro for athletes considering the Tramp & Tumbling team.
