OUR TEAMS
Xcel Team: Bronze, Silver, Gold
ConXion utilizes the Xcel Competitive Program of USA Gymnastics to foster the unique development of each ConXion gymnast. Xcel athletes benefit from personalized routines that showcase individual strengths. Each season, Xcel athletes progress through the fundamental building blocks for advanced gymnastics training. In addition, all Xcel athletes have the option to qualify for regional competition each season, giving them the opportunity to compete with the best in their level and age division across the southeast. This experience has proven invaluable for those athletes who qualify, as they return home and prepare for the next season. Xcel Bronze, Silver, and Gold practices are held at both our Hernando and Olive Branch locations.
Optional Team: Levels 6-10
Our Optional Team is led by Emily Lay and Louis Robinson. Coach Louis has been an assistant coach at several colleges including University of Florida & Mizzou. Coach Emily is a nationally rated judge. Together, they have 50 years of combined experience. Louis & Emily have worked together in the past coaching at Level 10 Nationals as well as Regional Camps! Several of our levels 8-10 have qualified for USA Gymnastics Regional and National training camps. Our Optional Team practices 20 hours per week and competes in 8 regular season meets, with the option for additional merit meets, and Regional and National competitions. All level 6-10 athletes practice at our Olive Branch location.
Daytime Practice Option: Gold thru Optionals
All Xcel Gold and Optional athletes who are homeschooled are welcome to practice in the daytime at our Olive Branch location.
Hothots :
Hotshots is a fast track program that spotlights our younger talents and gives them the opportunity to advance one on one with a coach.
